The Landlord & Tenant team form a key element in the enhancement of the asset management role of BTW Shiells. They provide advice in respect of rent reviews, lease renewals and other business tenancies related matters for property in all commercial sectors however with a special emphasis on the retail, office and industrial markets. With a substantial in-house shopping centre portfolio, the team work in close partnership with their clients who include Finbrook Investments Ltd, Milestone Trust, McAleer & Rushe, Irwin Glenbank Ltd, MAR Properties Ltd, Lagmar Ltd and William Ewart Properties Ltd.
The team also work for a number of retail tenants including Boots, Gordons Chemists, Specsavers, Ladbrokes, Subway, Clarks, Vodafone and British Red Cross.
Both John Adgey and Phillip Smyth are Associates of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators with John also recently completing the entrance exams to be accepted onto the President and NI Chairman’s Panel of Arbitrators and the Law Society for NI’s panel of Arbitrators.
